What To Do Upon Arrival

Pre-registered conferees should proceed to your assigned Residence Hall to pickup Registration Packets, Guest keycards, Schedule of Events, maps and important details for the conference week. Field Trips to several of our nation’s most beautiful and historic sites are planned to explore the beyond the National Mall and greater Chesapeake Bay resources.

There are very accessible daily CityBikes rentals on campus and around the city for hourly and daily use. Dedicated bike lanes and bike paths lead to Georgetown, the C&O Canal, and the National Mall. Local and easy hikes through Glover Archbold Park, Rock Creek Park, along the C&O Canal and Potomac River at Great Falls, the National Arboretum, and National Zoo are easily accessed via public transportation and/or bikes.
